My name is Natalia Becerra. I would like
to visit London, which is the capital of the United Kingdom. I would like to
live in London because it is a cosmopolitan city where art prevails and stands
out, where there are beautiful and surprising museums, galleries and parks that
represent the history of a great country. The city is one of the most important
financial centers in Europe, not to mention being the home of one of the most
important aristocratic families in the world, not because of its power but
because of its popularity. The English royal family gives the capital a special
touch, as do the many museums in the city, which are considered to be very
complete and well organized. Like every trip that I plan and organize I would
like to visit certain places in London, especially the most prominent museums,
on my first day trip to London I would go to the Natural History Museum since
the museum is considered one of the most complete of its type. On the second
day of my stay in London I would like to visit the National Gallery, since it
is considered the jewel of museums in the city, this museum has an extensive
gallery of works of art from different periods of history, created by different
international artists. Another of London's special attractions are its palaces,
the city has many important palaces, not just museums, and one of the most
visited is the Royal Palace of Buckingham, the palace where the royal family
lives and from where they are held many important celebrations for the country
and for its monarchy. The palace is in one of the best places in the city.
Another of the prominent palaces is the Tower of London, it is a palace with a
fortress design, it was inhabited by the aristocracy and today it is a museum,
where the crown jewels are found, This palace has many dark and secret stories
in its interior. That is why I would visit him on my third day in my stay in
London. On my fourth day of my stay in London, I would like to visit Westminster
Abbey, which is one of the most famous buildings in London where one can feel
the spirit of Great Britain. It represents a Gothic cathedral and this is the
place where all the royal weddings are celebrated. Many British monarchs,
scholars, and statesmen are buried here. The history of an entire nation can be
read in these graves. The Palace of Westminster is also known as the Houses of
Parliament. The best-known Palace clock tower in all of London is Big Ben. The
palace was built in 1840 with a Gothic style and Victorian elements. The two
houses that make up the British Parliament are the House of Commons and the
House of Lords. The entry ticket includes visiting and participating in public
debates allowing you to feel like a member of the English Parliament. On the
other days that I will be in London, since I would like to live there, I can
get to know the British museum and the parks that have wonderful gardens. Also
during my stay in London I would like to study art that's the dream of my life
Blog 6: POSTGRADUATE COURSE I would like to do a postgraduate degree in Neuroscience in Chile at the University of Santiago or, if possible, according to my life circumstances, in another country such as the United States at the University of Missouri, I would like to study part time. I am interested in neuroscience because neuroscience is a science that studies the nervous system, which offers knowledge support in order to better understand the complexity of mental functioning. The central task of neuroscience is to unravel the way in which the activity of the brain is related to the psyche and behavior, revolutionizing the way we understand our behaviors and what is even more important: how our brain learns, how it stores information and what are the biological processes that facilitate learning. There are current diseases that today's children suffer, which can lead to the medicalization of childhood, that is why in my opinion this medicalization should be avoided and childre...
